Tom Holland will he swinging around as Spider-Man for at least one more movie following the release of the upcoming No Way Home.

The new film will be the Brit's third solo outing as the superhero, while he also appeared as Spider-Man in two Avengers films – and now it appears his term as the webslinger has been extended.

Amid fan fears Holland will be stepping down as Spider-Man/Peter Parker after No Way Home, producer Amy Pascal – the former head of Sony Pictures – insists that's not the plan.

"This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel…," she tells IndieWire. "We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We're thinking of this as three films, and now we're going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies."

Meanwhile, Spider-Man fans crashed movie websites on Monday as they rushed to get hold of tickets for No Way Home, which will be released on 17 December in the U.S.
