Social media star Olivia Jade and her sister Bella have opened up about the U.S. college admissions scandal that landed their parents behind bars.

The girls’ mother, actress Lori Loughlin, and dad Mossimo Giannulli both served time for cheating the system and bribing officials to land their daughters spots at top U.S. college the University of Southern California.

The sisters sat down for the latest episode of Olivia’s iHeartRadio podcast, Conversations with Olivia Jade, and discussed the drama indepth for the first time.

Bella said, “There was times where like certain things were going on and I was like, ‘I don’t feel like what’s happening to me is being necessarily heard or acknowledged on the scale that it should be, just because there was something bigger going on at the time.

“I think the hardest part of this entire thing was watching how horrible, or reading and seeing how horrible the media was to both you (Olivia) and mom, and actually knowing you guys.” she added.

Olivia also recalled Bella’s then-boyfriend calling and breaking up with her as news of the college admissions scandal broke.
