John Cena wants Dwayne Johnson to take a break from Hollywood and return to the world of wrestling.

The 12 Rounds actor made his own comeback to the wrestling ring for World Wrestling Entertainment's Money In The Bank event on 18 July.

Now he thinks his fellow wrestler-turned-movie action man The Rock should do the same.

"Dwayne Johnson is a star in his own universe. There is no one like him. There will never be anyone like him. For him to be gracious enough to return to WWE, its own global entertainment phenomenon, that's great for WWE and it is great for The Rock," Cena tells E! News.

"As a fan of WWE, I really hope he returns. I think it would be special for everyone."

In the past, Dwayne has been open to the idea of returning for a much-rumored WrestleMania 38 clash with his cousin Roman Reigns, and

recent reports suggests he could be back at Survivor Series in November.

However, when asked about a potential return to the octagon at the premiere of his new film, Jungle Cruise, on Monday, the Jumanji star told ET Online, "There's nothing (to tease)."
