Actress Lucy Hale has reportedly split up with co-star Riley Smith following the cancellation of their show Life Sentence.

The Pretty Little Liars star was first linked to the actor when they were spotted kissing after leaving a dinner date at Pace restaurant in Los Angeles on Valentine's Day in February, but they have now parted ways, according to Entertainment Tonight.

A source has told the website they have both "moved on", several weeks after the cancellation of their TV series Life Sentence in May. The insider also stated that Riley has a new album coming out and is gearing up to move to Chicago, Illinois to begin shooting a new TV show called Proven Innocent.

It seems as if the Truth or Dare star has already found herself a new man, as she was pictured holding hands with Billionaire Boys Club actor Ryan Rottman while out and about in Los Angeles over the weekend, leaving fans confused about the status of her relationship with Riley.

The 29-year-old landed a leading role in Life Sentence shortly after Pretty Little Liars came to an end, but the show was short-lived, getting cancelled after only 13 episodes.

"Sometimes things don't resonate with the audience and shows just don't work, but I'm so proud of what we accomplished & for the experience I had," she wrote on Twitter at the time. "That chapter is closing before I want it to, but taking this as a life lesson. Things don't always work out in our favour & it's up to us what we do with it… We created something important and pure and no cancellation can take that away."

The actress has previously dated Lawson band member Adam Pitts, Wizards of Waverly Place's David Henrie, and Anthony Kalabretta, who she split from in May 2017 after a two-year relationship.
