Isla Fisher would be first in line to sign up if the long-rumored Wedding Crashers sequel was ever to happen.

Following Vince Vaughn's admission that he and Owen Wilson are in the "early stages" of discussions to reprise their characters, Jeremy and John, from the 2005 film, Isla told Australia's Today Extra that she would love the chance to star as Gloria in a follow-up film.

"I would 100 per cent be down (for it)," she said. "I think there's a ton of comedy to be mined in that set-up. Those two (Vaughn and Wilson) have such great natural chemistry. They riffed so well together.

"I loved playing a bipolar nymphomaniac. It would be a really fun thing to step back into that role. Yeah. it would be great fun!"

Wedding Crashers centers on the stars' divorce mediator characters, who spend their free time crashing wedding receptions in a bid to drink for free and bed vulnerable women. When U.S. Secretary of the Treasury William Cleary, played by Christopher Walken, announces his daughter's wedding, they make it their mission to crash the bash – until John locks eyes with Rachel McAdams' character, bridesmaid Claire.
