Fans of Drake can soon fill their homes with the rap superstar’s scent thanks to his new line of candles.
The God’s Plan hitmaker has been teasing the forthcoming home goods launch for several months, having previously shared a photo of navy blue candles with gold branding on his Instagram Stories timeline.
The post was simply captioned, “@betterworldfragrances Available soon…”
Now, according to InStyle.com, details about the five new scented candles have come to light, and they were all created in partnership with fragrance expert Michael Carby at Swiss firm Givaudan.
Each candle is made of soy wax in Drake’s native Canada, and they are titled, Carby Musk, Good Thoughts, Sweeter Tings, Muskoka, and Williamsburg Sleepover.
However, it’s the Carby Musk which will likely draw the most attention from fans as it’s inspired by the rapper’s very own scent.
“Features notes of Musk, Ambers, Cashmere, Suede, and Velvet,” read the product notes on Carby’s personal page on the Revolve.com site, where shoppers were given a preview of the products.
“Actually smells like Drake – it’s the personal fragrance he wears, which inspired BWFH (Better World Fragrance House).”
An official release date has yet to be announced.
Drake is the latest celebrity to embrace the candle business – Gwyneth Paltrow famously sold a candle made to smell like her vagina via her Goop brand, while Kim Kardashian and her mom, Kris Jenner, recently launched their own special collection, as did Anthony Hopkins and Alicia Keys.
