Fleetwood Mac’s musical early days will be documented in a huge new box set.

The Fleetwood Mac 1969-1974 disc set features eight albums, starting from the group’s third LP, 1969 release Then Play On. Subsequent albums, such as Kiln House (1970), Future Games (1971), Bare Trees (1972), Penguin (1973), Mystery to Me (1973) and Heroes Are Hard to Find (1974), are also included along with bonus tracks.

The new release features the music created by the band before folk duo Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined the ensemble in 1974 and helped craft music for their iconic 1977 album Rumors. The boxed set setlist also features songs written during other personnel shifts within the band, such as the departure of founding guitarist Peter Green, who left Fleetwood Mac in 1970.

Fleetwood Mac 1969-1974 is released through Rhino Records on 4 September. A four-record vinyl set is also available for purchase.
