Ryan Seacrest has split from girlfriend Shayna Taylor for the third time.
A representative for the 45-year-old TV host confirmed the news in a statement to People, saying: "Ryan and Shayna decided to end their romantic relationship amicably some time ago. They remain good friends, each other's biggest supporters and will always cherish their time together as a couple."
Ryan and Shayna, 28, first started dating seven years ago, before splitting in December, 2014 and then giving things another go in 2016. In February, 2019, they split again, but reunited later that year.
And things had appeared to be going well for the couple at the beginning of the coronavirus lockdown in March, when they featured together in an at-home cooking segment on Ryan's show Live with Kelly and Ryan wearing matching tie-dye sweatsuits.
Ryan also addressed the on-off nature of his relationship with Shayna during an episode of Live, as he said: "I just want to say, happy third anniversary to Shayna. It is our third time together. So we've gotten together, broken up, gotten together, broken up. This is number three of being together. So we're celebrating as well."
When co-host Kelly Ripa commented that "third time's a charm", Ryan laughed: "Listen, nothing's perfect. You just keep trying until you get it right."
Despite the split being fresh in his mind, Ryan already appears to have moved on from Shayna. The American Idol host is currently vacationing with friends in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with pictures obtained by the Daily Mail Online showing him holding hands with a mystery woman.
According to the outlet, the presenter is dating a member of his friendship group.
