Robbie Williams reached out to actress Jane Seymour after he rented her castle home in Bath, England and passed it off as his own for an early episode of MTV Cribs.

The former Take That star was 23 when he appeared on the program for the first time and, speaking on U.S. radio, the Feel hitmaker insisted Jane was in the dark about what was going on.

"We didn't let her know that I was going to pretend it was my house," he said, reported Britain's The Sun newspaper "And because I was like 23 and full of spunk, I didn't even consider other people's thoughts or feelings, so I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to Jane Seymour."

He jokingly added: "There are so many castles in England."

Robbie also revealed he hired butlers to serve him during the filming, but insisted his second appearance on Cribs at a later date was shot inside his real home.

The Angels star, 46, now resides in a $21.6 million mansion in London's Holland Park area with wife Ayda Field, 40, seven-year-old daughter Theodora, five-year-old son Charlton, 18-month-old daughter Colette, and one-month-old son Beau.
