Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has secured her first post-royal job, as the narrator of an upcoming Disney documentary on elephants.

The 38-year-old ex-actress and her husband, Prince Harry, announced plans to step down as senior members of the royal family earlier this year, and now Disney chiefs have announced a major coup after landing the former Suits star for their upcoming Disney+ nature special.

”Disneynature’s Elephant, an Original Movie narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, starts streaming April 3, only on #DisneyPlus (sic),” a company statement reads.

The news comes after Harry appeared to propose the idea of using Meghan’s voice on Disney projects to the studio’s former CEO, Bob Iger. The pair met Iger back in July at the London premiere of The Lion King and, and in video footage of their encounter, Harry can be heard promoting the former actress’ talents.

The couple has been vocal supporters of Elephants Without Borders, a non-profit organization based in Botswana that works to protect the species from poachers.
