Forgetful Robbie Williams has urged Americans planning to attend his upcoming Las Vegas shows to do their research – because they will be singing his hits.
The Brit admits he often forgets the lyrics to his songs and covers up by asking the audience to sing along instead.
"I know 75 per cent of the words," he tells Access Daily. "I sing in key 78 per cent of the time. If I forget the words, I just go, 'You sing…'
"Americans, if you're coming and you're not aware of my work, go and do some research, so you know which bits you'll be singing.
"It happens all of the time – I forget the words and sometimes the melody of the song… I reckon 50 per cent of, 'You sing…' is me going, 'Not a clue what that is!'"
