Vin Diesel has shared his gratitude for two decades of working on the Fast & Furious franchise.

The star appeared in 2001's The Fast and The Furious, which filmed from July to October of 2000, and is set to reprise his role as Dominic 'Dom' Toretto once more in the upcoming Fast & Furious 9.

Taking to Instagram, the 52-year-old actor shared a sweet snap alongside his co-star Michelle Rodriguez, and reflected on the "incredible" journey he's been on as part of the series. .

"Less than two weeks away from the trailer launch of Fast 9! So grateful to the entire Fast Family, including Universal, anyone who for the last two decades have been a part of this incredible saga," he penned. "Most important I am grateful to you all who have been there with us along the whole journey. We hope to make you proud."

He added the hashtags "#Fast92020 #Fatherhood #Grateful" alongside his post.

Fast & Furious 9, also starring Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel, and John Cena, debuts in cinemas 22 May 2020.
