The School's Out rocker, who formed Hollywood Vampires with Depp and Aerosmith star Joe Perry in 2015, really rates the Pirates of the Caribbean star's musical talent and appreciates his disinterest in behind the scenes drama.

"You take three alpha males like that – and that's not counting the other guys in the band that are all in big bands – and realize that there's never been an argument, there's never been anybody leaving stage angry," Cooper says of the band in an interview with Three Sides Of The Coin.

Cooper adds that Depp isn't put off by the fact that he earns much less money as part of Hollywood Vampires than he does for his acting because he has a real passion for his second job.

"People are really surprised when they hear him play because they don't realize how good of a guitar player he is," he shares. "I think he'd rather play guitar than act. I told him not to lose his day job, because we can't pay him $25 million a show, but I think he loves playing guitar and he loves being up on stage…"
