Lil Wayne has launched his own personal brand of weed.

The rapper has been heavily involved in his latest passion project, and promised the strain he has developed contains the "highest natural levels of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) available".

Out now in Los Angeles, GKUA Ultra Premium is available as a flower and concentrate, as well as vape batteries and cartridges. A wider release is due next year.

Opening up on the project, Wayne explained in a press release: "I used to just want to get high, now I smoke to get inspired. With GKUA, I'm sharing a feeling that I love."

The debut strain, Hollygrove, is named after Wayne's childhood neighborhood in New Orleans.

The Lollipop star, real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., has made no secret of his love for the drug, and earlier this year was presented with a birthday joint on stage by Blink-182 during their joint summer tour.
