Orlando Bloom is keen to make his fiancee, Katy Perry, a mom, insisting he wants more kids.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star is dad to eight year old Flynn, his son from his marriage to ex-wife Miranda Kerr, and he reveals he is eager to expand his family in the next few years when he has more time to be a full-time father.
“I really want to enjoy family and friends, my beautiful son, and have more kids,” he tells Man About Town magazine.”I want to make sure when I embark on that, it’s with my heart full and very clear about the reality of what that means, as opposed to some romantic idea of what it means to be in a relationship.
“When you’re younger, we’ve all been sold this Hollywood idea of love and relationships, marriage and kids, and actually, what it really takes is communication and compromise, so life looks like somebody who’s willing to communicate and find joy in the simple and small moments,” he adds.
But for now, the 42 year old has marriage on his mind after proposing to Perry in February.
”I can’t wait to get married again and have more kids at some point in my life,” he shared. ”That’s really important to me.”
Orlando and his bride-to-be have yet to go public with a wedding date.
