Reality TV mogul Mike Fleiss has reunited with his wife Laura Kaeppeler, just months after the couple went through a messy divorce.
In July, Laura was granted a temporary restraining order against her spouse, after claiming he demanded she get an abortion. She also alleged that during a fight over her cellphone two days later, Mike grabbed her and pinned her to the wall.
As part of the divorce settlement, Mike – the creator of ABC's The Bachelor and The Bachelorette – had been ordered to pay his ex $10 million , but he later claimed she violated the terms by taking their four-year-old son Benjamin to Hawaii and going off the radar.
After agreeing to the settlement, Laura dropped the restraining order.
On Sunday, however, Mike took to Twitter to share news the couple had reconciled, announcing: "Happy to report that @FleissLaura and I have reconciled. I love my wife and am grateful for this opportunity to work on our marriage… Thanks for the support, #BachelorNation!"
Laura also shared a note on her own Twitter page, calling their decision to split while she was pregnant with the couple's second child "immature" and "irresponsible."
"Over the summer, my husband and I went through a challenging time, as all marriages do. There was an emotionally charged incident in which we fought over a phone and both exhibited immature and irresponsible behavior. This situation led to making rash decisions we both regret…" she wrote.
"We both take full responsibility for our actions and have worked very hard to repair the damage to our relationship and family and are working together with the help of a marriage counselor to rebuild what we lost. I love @fleissmeister and our kids very much. We appreciate your support at this time."
