Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are reportedly planning to tie the knot in December.

The pair got engaged on Valentine’s Day, when the actor asked the singer to marry him during a helicopter flight, and an insider told Us Weekly magazine the couple is set to marry in just two months’ time.

Earlier this year, the Dark Horse hitmaker, 34, confessed she was in no rush to walk down the aisle for a second time – following her two year marriage to Russell Brand, which ended in 2011 – because she still believes tying the knot is a “big deal”.

“One step at a time,” she said when asked about her wedding plans during an interview with Britain’s KISS radio in June. “Definitely trying to lay the good emotional foundation for the lifetime of commitment, which is like a big deal.”

Katy and Orlando, 42, who has an eight-year-old son, Flynn, with his first wife, model Miranda Kerr, first started dating after getting together at a Golden Globe Awards after-party in 2016.

They announced that they were breaking up in February 2017, but subsequently got back together.
