Lori Loughlin's daughters Olivia and Bella have reportedly dropped out of USC (University of Southern California) after their parents were caught up in the college admissions scandal.
The Full House star and her husband Mossimo Giannulli were arrested earlier this week, amid accusations they paid $500,000 to get their daughters into the institution by pretending they were athletes.
While their future at USC was already in doubt following the scandal, which also saw Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman arrested, TMZ reported on Thursday that Olivia, 19, and Bella, 20, have both decided to quit university for fear that they would be "viciously bullied" if they returned.
Their decision is said to have been made with the full support of their parents.
A source told the website that the pair are now planning to "lay low" and won't try to enrol in another school for the time being.
The report comes as a spokesperson for USC told Entertainment Tonight that the pair are currently still students at the university, saying in a statement: "USC is conducting a case-by-case review for current students and graduates that may be connected to the scheme alleged by the government and will make informed decisions as those reviews are completed."
Following the scandal, social media influencer and vlogger Olivia was dropped by Sephora, with whom she collaborated on a bronzing palette, and has now also been dropped by haircare company Tresemme.
"TRESemme is no longer working with Olivia Jade Giannulli," a spokesperson for the brand told The Blast.
After news broke of the admissions scandal, many celebrities took to social media to condemn Lori and Felicity for getting involved in the scam. Olivia Munn was the latest to have her say, tweeting on Thursday: "What these parents did wasn't for love, it was for fancy diplomas. Love would've made you spend that money on tutors to make your kids smarter, giving them an actual education."
She added in a second tweet: "The irony will be that these parents spent all this money to hustle into top universities and are now in the middle of this s**t show just to find out in a few years that their kids only have dreams of being an influencer."
