Pamela Anderson is hobbling around on crutches after injuring her ankle during rehearsals on the French TV competition show Danse avec les stars (Dancing with The Stars) on Thursday night.
The former Baywatch star has taken to Instagram to share the news about her banged up calf muscle and is now fighting to perform on the show on Saturday.
"Petite Problème I hurt my right calf muscle in rehearsal last night," she wrote on Friday. "We weren't doing anything crazy just dancing. It felt like someone threw a baseball very hard at my lower leg – I screamed and turned around and no one was there. Then realized it was my calf muscle that may have exploded?
"I'm on my way to another Dr (insurance) this afternoon and will continue my cryotherapy and kine' every day… My hamstring is almost healed from 80% torn – so I've been doing well.
"I'm sad but hopeful that I can continue to dance. We are losing precious rehearsal time and Saturday is only 2 days away. This is my favorite dance so far… This is just another challenge. A bump in the road… I'm determined to do whatever it takes to dance on Saturday."
Pam also heaped praise on her dancing partner, Maxime Dereymez, revealing he carried the actress to her car and then to her hotel room after she could no longer dance through the pain.
Former Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere, 1980s pop icon Lio, actress Heloise Martin, and former soccer star Basile Boli are also among the contestants on the ninth season of the hit French show.
