Nicole Kidman has finally confirmed she was once engaged to rocker Lenny Kravitz.
The stars began a short-lived romance in 2003 and there were reports at the time the pair had become engaged. Neither has commented on the rumors until now, when Nicole opened up about working with Lenny's daughter Zoe Kravitz in new TV show Big Little Lies, which she stars in and executive produces.
"Well, I knew Zoe because I was engaged to her father," she commented to The Edit on her history with the 28-year-old. "It's all in the family! I love Lenny; he's a great guy."
These days Nicole, 49, is happily married to country music star Keith Urban, who she tied the knot with in 2006. The couple share daughters Sunday Rose, eight, and six-year-old Faith Margaret, and Nicole often talks about her young daughters in interviews – especially when it comes to their opinionated natures.
Chatting to The Edit about the green sequined Gucci dress she wore to the Screen Actors Guild Awards earlier this year, the flame-haired beauty laughed: "My eight-year-old said, "You're wearing that?' My six-year-old was like, "What's on your shoulder?!'"
She added that she often picks her red carpet outfits according to what her girls like, even if it doesn't come under her normal choices.
The Lion actress also has adopted kids Isabella, 24, and Connor, 22, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, who she met in 1989 while filming Days of Thunder. They married on Christmas Eve the following year before separating in February 2001 and finally divorcing in August of that year.
