Mumford and Sons gave and energetic homecoming show in London last night (11.12.12).

The folk-rockers showcased tracks from their second album 'Babel' at The O2 venue as they continue their sold out UK tour.

The energetic show opened with title track 'Babel', followed by recent single 'I Will Wait' and by the end of the fifth song hardly any of the audience were left in their seats.

Singer Marcus Mumford told the crowd: ''We have been rumbling around… It's really, really good to be back home, this feels like home!''

All of the members of the band – Marcus, Ben Lovett, Winston Marshall and Ted Dwane – appeared to be in the swing of things, throwing themselves about the stage as they played 'The Cave',' Winter Winds' and show highlight 'White Blank Page'.

Inviting the crowd to participate, Marcus roared ''Do you wanna have a dance together, London?'' as he introduced 'Little Lion Man'.

After the band had left the stage the crowd chanted for an encore but the crew started to pack the instruments away. However, the band had not finished and appeared in a different part of the arena where they sung a few numbers A cappella before making their way back to the main stage, where they performed a special cover of The Beatles' 'With A Little Help from My Friends'.
